Building Structural Safety Report:
Building structural safety certificate is issued by Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Limited for the session of 2024-25(Attached with this report)
Fire Safety Report: Vidyalaya fire safety certificate is also provided by West Bengal government fire safety department. The mentioned letter in the previous paragraph was about the same. Till date we didn’t receive any reply regarding physical inspection of the fire safety standards of our vidyalaya by the West Bengal fire safety department. We requested our vidyalaya management committee South eastern railway officers to look after the matter but they refused to provide the fire safety certificate as they are not the authority to provide the same.
Our vidyalaya is equipped with 22 nos fire extinguishers installed in prominent places of the vidyalaya and various departments where it is required the most, like libraries laboratories etc. Fire extinguishers are refilled on 19.07.2024
Apart from the availability of fire extinguishers our vidyalaya is also equipped with sand buckets and sufficient water supplies to fight any emergency situation.
Electric wirings are regularly checked and monitored. Emergency evacuation plan along with Floor plan is also displayed all over the Vidyalaya.
State fire safety department demonstrated (19.07.2022) regarding quick response during emergency fire break out. Students and staff participated with great enthusiasm.
Mock Drill on emergency evacuation was done engaging students and staffs on 5th August 2023. NCC cadets conducted the entire process. Teachers demonstrated the safety measures to be taken during emergency.
Fire safety mock drill was conducted engaging NCC Cadets and Scouts& Guides of our Vidyalaya on 22.11.2023. NDMA team of South Eastern Railway BNR,Mr. AfsarAlam, Mrs. Sonali Banerjee , Mrs. Savita Devi, SK. Hanif taught students how to control fire in every emergency Situation (brief report attached).
Fire safety mock drill was conducted by NDRF team engaging NCC Cadets, Scouts& Guides & Council members of our Vidyalaya on on 23.04.2024.
Fire safety mock drill was conducted by Fire Extinguisher refilling team engaging NCC Cadets, Scouts& Guides & Council members of our Vidyalaya on on 20.07.2024.
An emergency evacuation mock drill was conducted on 31.08.2024. engaging NCC Cadets, Vidyalaya Council Members and teachers. It was a part of quarterly safety audit. Students of class 9 & 10 were evacuated from the building within five minutes to a safe area.
Water Safety Report:
Previously Vidyalaya drinking water was tested by Advanced Research and testing laboratory Kolkata on date 19.07.2024.
